This is my favorite stretch of trail on my favorite trail: Eagle Creek Trail

The trail goes up and down through the dense forest

Took the Eagle Creek Trail to the Pipeline Road, then ran down/up Rincon Trail to the Big Hole Rock Trail

And back onto Rincon Trail which parallels Big Hole Rock Trail (but is wider). I'm using this photo for another one of my screensavers

River crossing. The trail is supposed to cross the river again to meet the Buckeye Trail, but I still haven't found where the trail picks up on the other side.

So we went back up to the Observation Deck and looked across Monterey Bay to the hills.

These clouds produced light showers in Boulder Creek, but not here, just 9 miles south.

Back at the showgrounds, Bella got a quick rinse and rubdown before loading up and heading over to Morgan Hill to pick up Ruby for cutting practice. Bella got to play with the cattle a little bit too, but not cutting.

After cutting practice, we head back to the 101 Freeway in Morgan Hill for the ride home.

It's been a great big beautiful day!
