Rabin/Wakeman info from AMY

From: Nic Caciappo (nicbeat@earthlink.net) - Aug 9

[Nic Caciappo wrote: By the way, Trevor is playing guitars as well as *singing* one tune himself on "Return."]

[Rob Allen asked: Excellent, is he doing all the guitars, or will there be other guitarists too?]

All (or nearly all) of the guitars that will be on the album will be from Trevor. He has also helped Rick with connecting him up to some sound company in L.A. that will bring this album and the concert(s) up to snuff with regards to technology. There's an awesome plan that will help give "Return" some recognition for it's sound and on the DVD format. Trevor is *very* keen on the music and the story that Rick has composed for the "Return". EMI is very excited as well. Rick has their full support and the EMI staff will be working this project very hard. One reason is that there is somone in the marketing dept that is a very big Yes/Wakeman fan as well as a friend that has been a *great* help, and believe me it's an extra to have someone in a record company that really appreciates the music of the artist. EMI has been great. "Return" will be great too.

Jack Frost

From: BoSease - Aug. 11

Here's a copy of a note that Jim Auman sent me....FYI....I tried to find this at www.mania.com, so I could make a link, but couldn't. (Of course, I'm pressed for time, so I maybe just didn't try hard enough!)

Trevor in a Movie From James R. Auman (jrauman@ncrb.org) - August 11

Trevor Rabin not only scores this upcoming movie, he's in it! Here's the scoop (courtesy of Mania Magazine (www.mania.com)

Preview of Keaton's Jack Frost
Here's a sneak peek and synopsis of Michael Keaton's latest movie, Jack Frost, courtesy of Warner Bros.

Jack Frost (Keaton) is about to make it big as a musician after years of hard work. His passion, however, has a price - days and nights away from his wife Gabby (Kelly Preston) and his son Charlie (Joseph Cross).

One Christmas, Jack decides to skip the most important audition of this career to spend the holidays with his family. But when Jack's car skids off the road, he's killed before he has a chance to make it back home.

The following year, as Christmas approaches, Charlie builds a snowman that he tops off with his dad's old hat, scarf and gloves. Before he falls asleep that night, Charlie takes out the old harmonica his dad once gave him, and he plays a soulful tune on it - the sound of a boy wishing for the return of a father who's gone forever.

And that night Jack Frost does come back to Earth, but in a way that neither of them could possibly have imagained * as the snowman built by his son Charlie.

A line-up of rock artists also make appearances in the movie including Henry Rollins, Dweezil Zappa, Ahmet Zappa, Trevor Rabin (formerly of the band Yes) and Moon Zappa.

The snowman, which functions as a major character in the movie, is created by the Henson Creature Shop.
