Flew uneventfully overnight to London. While I was on the plane, Marillion played a warm-up gig in Reading

| It was pouring rain and we weren't able to take too many photos. Also, photos are not allowed inside the building, so this view is from a postcard that we got in the gift shop. |

St. Paul's Cathedral. These are both postcards. It was simply a beautiful, ornate and incredible building. |

![]() On Sunday morning, we all met up at the Hertz car rental place in Marble Arch, London and got a mini van. Here we are in the dark underground garage trying to figure out how fit all our luggage in. |
![]() Less than four hours later, we were in Manchester. Though London was sunny, as we drove north, storm clouds awaited us. As we approached Manchester, we saw several rainbows. |
![]() Before dinner, we scouted out the venue-the Manchester Academy. This kiosk was outside the student union building next to the theatre. Marillion's advertisement is the 2nd one down on the left. |
![]() After dinner, I was surprised with a visit from my friends Sarah and Pete and their son Adam who live locally. We had a nice chat in the hotel's pub while a storm raged outside. |
