Jon Anderson Interview in "Mojo" From Tizwin Hay [tizwin@progress.freeserve.co.uk] - Jan. 16

Jon Anderson is quoted in Mojo (February 2000 issue) regarding the forthcoming Yes tour of Europe: "We'll be doing a lot of the new album. We're thinking of doing a longer show - maybe two and a half hours with all the classic music from the '70s and '80s. Nobody's been disappointed yet. We musically mesmerise them and take them to the place they've been before. If they haven't been before, it's quite a thrill because as a group we're very self-critical about making sure we play well and the show looks good."

Jon also explains, "Our parents really dug Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald and they stuck with it for 40 years because it gave them a reason to understand various emotions. I think that's what Yes has been able to do as well. We can span the years because we were doing something a bit different in the '70s and we're still doing the same thing. There's an edge of spirituality about the music. 'Peace, love and understanding' - that's what Elvis Costello sang, we've always been into that, we still are and a lot of people look to the band for that reason."

Randy Raine-Reusch- On Yes From: Henry Potts - Jan. 16
