This is probably old news, but since it's in ICE it's a tad more offcial (for whatever that's worth). Anyway they have the Armageddon score cd listed to be released on Nov 10th.
Got this off the Steve Morse website:
And now, to bring you all up-to-date on the classical project for Windham Hill, I'm happy to report that we're almost there! The CD is shaping up as follows:
oSteve Morse----- Handel's Water Music oJohn Petrucci ----- Flight of the Bumblebee oMarty Freedman----- Meditation from Thais by Jules Messenet oSteve Howe ----- Bach Chantte 140 oPeter Frampton ----- Concerto in F Minor by Bach oTrevor Rabin ----- Beethoven's 9th oDweezil Zappa ----- Suites from Carmen by Bizet oAl DiMeola ----- Tango by Astor Piozola oAlbert Lee ----- Handel's Largo oJorma Kaukonen ----- Pachelbel's Cannon oMike Stern ----- Gymnopedie #1 by Erik Satie oPatty Larkin ----- T.B.A.
All of the tracks are now in, with the exception of Patty's and that last one should be in real soon. To say that this is shaping up as an incredible compilation is an understatement: we'll keep everyone posted as to the release date, and as to such things as our progress on artwork, mastering, etc.
