July 4-13, 1997


Upon the cancellation of the Summer 1997 Yes Tour, my good friend, Tami Freed, and I rearranged our plans to meet for a week in the Four Corners area: Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah, plus Nevada and California. Tami’s friends Melissa Goldberg and Vicki Brennan got excited about these plans, and volunteered to accompany us. None of these three had been in this region before, and I am a most willing tour guide.

“Da Goils” flew out to San Francisco from New York on July 4, making an unscheduled stop in Minneapolis for a few hours.

The first couple of days we traveled separately. I went to Phoenix and visited my dad for a few days. Here's a picture of my Arizona family: nephew David, nephew-in-law Eddie, neice Christine, sister Janice, Dad, and nephew Steve.


Da Goils did the tourist thing in San Francisco and then drove to Las Vegas. We met up in Sedona, Arizona, on Monday morning.
