Billy Martin Training Stables is surrounded on all sides by an apple orchard. Or should we say, WAS, surrounded by
an apple orchard. The land owner changed his mind about farming apples and in just a few weeks' time,
bulldozed the orchard in order to plant organic raspberries -- this is going to take a few years, but he sure got a big start.
Usually after a ride, Ruby would get bathed and then I would hand-walk her through the orchard on wide paths.
We just walked down the road this day, with one side bull-dozed and the other side enjoying its last days of life in the sunshine.
