- We have a routine where I arrive in the evening and turn Mikey out into the pasture to graze, although
there's not much out there to nibble after a long, dry summer. Usually I take Mikey to the pasture gate and release
him, but this time he was really hyper in his stall, and I figured he'd just dash across the barnyard and out into the pasture
on his own. Ha, he fooled us. He did dash out, but then took a detour down by the lower barnyard, then galloped up to the top
of the barnyard before being shooed through the gate and out into the pasture with Jackson (gray Arabian). Look at all that dust!
The buckskin horse in the arena is Darla, who is usually Jackson's pasture mate.
